Visual poems : Jiri Kolar

On Tuesday, January 15 you will have the opportunity to hear a lecture given by Roman Kames, a Czech artist living in Paris. He will be lecturing about Jiri Kolar, his transition from written poetry to visual poetry and the political background that figures in Kolar's life and work. He will also talk about his own clandestine escape from Czechoslovakia to arrive in Paris to help you understand better the political climat post 1968.
